This coming weekend, more than half of my group is unavailable for our normal game. I don’t want to send the Rogue and the Barbarian on an adventure all by themselves, so I’m arranging something a little different for this session. Late last year–before the Rogue or the Barbarian joined my gaming group–I ran a free Pathfinder module called “We Be Goblins.” It was immense amounts of fun, and the whole group agrees that we’d like to return to those goblin characters and play some more, but we’ve yet to get around to that. However, since neither of the players attending this session were there when we played through the module the first time, I figure this will be a good opportunity to introduce them to goblin culture.
The adventure was pretty easy with four players, so I don’t imagine it will be overwhelming with only two, and I’m trying to rustle up a third. However, I don’t really want to let these players use three of the four pre-made characters which come with the module. Chuffy, Mogmurch, and Poog. Because if we ever do get around to playing the goblins as a full group, I don’t want more than one person in the group to feel attached to a given character. The guy who played Rita really didn’t like her and has already asked to change characters, but that still leaves two potential players who wouldn’t have characters of their own to play.
To that end I made two new goblins in the same style used in the module: Gork Stabslicer the Barbarian, and Yrt Gutmuncher the Ranger. I even filled both of their inventories with garbage, and wrote little songs for them to sing, like the four original characters had. And given that a lot of people find this site by searching for the module in question, I thought their sheets might be of interest to anyone who will be playing the module with a group of more than four players.

Thanks for posting about this module again and reminding me that it is free. I’ve never played Pathfinder, and this might be a fun one-shot to give it a try.
Unrelated, have you heard of the Rappan Athuk reboot for Pathfinder?
I’ll advise you that there’s a large section at the start of the game which you’ll want to modify. It’s a series of skill challenges which basically turns out to be a lot of rolling. If you cut out most of the rolling it can be really fun for the players, and does a good job of setting the mood. But as-designed, it exemplifies Pathfinder’s biggest flaws.
Still, having run two groups through it so far, I don’t think anyone hasn’t spent the whole session smiling.
I had not heard about anything Rappan Athuk being produced for Pathfinder. I have their 3.5 version of Gygax’ Necropolis, but beyond that I don’t know a great deal about it.
Check it out here:

They made their basic goal in under 8 hours. It seems like the demand is very high.
What did you think of Necropolis?
I have seen a used copy for sale at a local game shop.
This might be a good topic for a review post.
Two years after you said this might be kind of late to comment, but in case other people stumble over this, the Barbarian has a point buy value of 30 !!! while the core characters have standard fantasy 15 point buy.
The ranger is still effectively balanced, because using the DEX=STR=WIS>CON>Int>CHA (before racial modifiers) you get
Str 12 (+1) DEX 18 (+4) CON 12 (+1) INT 10 (+0) WIS 14 (+2) CHA 6 (-2), which in terms of stat bonuses is exactly the same as the character described above Str 13 (+1) Dex 19 (+4) Con 12 (+1) Int 11 (+0) Wis 15 (+2) Cha 7 (-2) — at least until you find a way to boost your stats.
This doesn’t hold true for the barbarian.
STR>CON>DEX>WIS>CHA>INT
Str 13 (+1) Dex 17 (+3) Con 14 (+2) Int 8 (-1) Wis 12 (+1) Cha 8 (-1).
Str 16 (+3) Dex 18 (+4) Con 15 (+2) Int 8 (-1) Wis 12 (+1) Cha 9 (-1)
I don’t know if you’d be willing to do that, but it would be great if you would edit the barbarian character to apply the change.
Also what’s up with his name/song being about stabbing and the only weapon he has is a hammer? No rhymes for smash?
Never too late to comment! I actually rolled these characters with dice, as I don’t use point buy. Though I suppose I can see why it would be valuable for pregens. Something for me to keep in mind in the future.
I’m afraid I honestly don’t remember what I was thinking when I wrote the song.
