A few months back one of the disposable apprentices to Sugodd the Wizard escaped, taking an experiment named Belee Orbica with them. The two eventually found themselves living in the relative safety of Trumpquatia, and eventually decided to join the party. These two new PCs were deemed perhaps not ready to go after a titan like Mr. Burns, so the party set off on a brief detour to aid them in taking revenge on Sugodd. Carl so he could retrieve secret knowledge he beleived to be his right, and Belee so he could steal the research that had turned his skin to soft, useless scales–perhaps to convince another wizard to perfect the formula, and grant him real true armor plating.
Sugodd’s magic mostly revolves around animating things, and his workshop is filled with animated puppet servants. He is also able to telekinetically manipulate objects with great speed and force, but is somewhat clumsy at maneuvering them.
The party create advertisements for a ShrimpPig burger on their projected TV network, and sneakily target those ads directly at Sugodd. This didn’t work so well, but undeterred, the party set off to set up a “surprise promotion” at his tower. On the way they bumped into a dog-riding wizard named Tully the Vicious. She magically commanded they kneel, and the whole party did so even though only two had actually been afflicted by her compulsion. She ordered them to fight until one of them was dead as punishment, but as soon as she turned her back Jeb shot her in the head with a laser rifle, killing her instantly. The compulsion was lifted not only on the party, but on her two guards. One took off running immediuately, while the other stopped to retrieve their wedding ring from Tully’s body. Thinking he was trying to take something valuable, the party shot off the man’s leg. Once they realized what they’d done, the party did what they could to fix up the leg, and sent him off to Trumpquatia to be treated by Bric Shelic, even allowing him to keep the ring.
Belee put a Sirarcha smiley face on Tully’s neck, with the intent of making it a calling card.
The party reached Sugodd’s tower: a split level. Upstairs belonged to another wizard, downstairs belonged to Sugodd. Entrance was an elevator. The upstairs wizard had hired all the guards, who accepted Belee’s story that he was here to deliver food to Sugodd, and allowed him (but only him at this point) to go past into the elevator, accompanied by one guard to ensure he didn’t go up.
