The party went through the metal door discovered in the last session. Therein they found a number of humanoid robots standing in re-powering niches on the walls. The niches didn’t have power and the robots were dead, but the party managed to tinker one back to a sort of activity. They learned that this place was a fully automated ore mine for the Green Orb Conglomerate. When the ore on the planetoid was tapped, the equipment (including the robots) were abandoned, as it would have cost more money than it was worth to retrieve them.
The party dug through the rubble of the place to make their way to the central computer core. There they managed to download all the information about the place, including the fact that it had been abandoned over 15 years ago. Salvage rights applied, it was free for the taking.
Routing power from the ship, the party was able to charge up all the robots. There was some disagreement on what to do with them, so the party decided to give half the robots their freedom, and to keep the other half as basic labor drones. Given the basic function and programming of these robots, the ones the party kept had no issues. They are happy to be of service, insofar as robots can be happy about anything. Even the freed robots decided to come along when the party offered.
In addition to the robots, the party collected up all the heavy mining equipment, thinking it might be of use at some point. Everything was loaded onto the Bosco, and the party set off again.
